"Anna Dumicz's portraits are not an objective account.
The attentive and sensual savoring of nature, the desire to reveal the unique personality of the model and the atmosphere in which each work is created, make us, when viewing her works, more like silent co-participants in the entire creative process than mere passive recipients of the final result hanging on the wall."

Prof. Jan Tarasin

"In my lifelong contacts with artists, the greatest satisfaction comes from encountering artists with real talent, artists who have something to say and are able to communicate it in such a way that you have to stop and listen and learn.

It is not often that one meets an artist of the caliber of Anna Dumicz, a Polish painter living in Malta. I feel very privileged to have been able to meet her and see her work.

She received a solid preparation at the best academies, in St. Petersburg and Warsaw, and it shows in her works. More importantly, she is very talented and has been blessed with great talent.

Her sure hand, her sense of composition, her refined taste and her almost obvious understanding of the great art of the past can be seen in all her works - ink drawings, powerful portraits, charming nudes, even her experiments with abstraction. Her study of sculpture must have enhanced her interpretation of the human body. All this makes her the accomplished artist she undoubtedly is.

Undoubtedly a true artist, a classical artist in the best sense of the word."
