Biography
He began studying photography at Studio Alpy in Tarbes in 1965. In July 1970, he moved to Paris where he took a job as a lab technician at Groupe Réalités. From the 1970s onward, he photographed the most important fashion shows, paying special attention to haute couture and designs by Yves Saint Laurent. He loved to photograph the nightlife of Paris, which he documented for nearly 30 years. He also worked for fashion houses such as Chanel, Dior, Christian Lacroix, Yves Saint Laurent, Emanuel Ungaro and Karl Lagerfeld. In 1997, the first exhibition of his fashion photographs took place at the Nancy Biennale, and a year later he showed his work from the runway in Tokyo at an exhibition in Japan. In 2005, he published his first album, "Le Palace: Remember," with Jean Rouzeaud.
