An envelope addressed to Luiza (Fryderyka Dorota Filipina) Radziwiłł, née Hohenzollern, from the Royal Secret Chancellery of the Minister of Justice, featuring an authentic hand-drawn sketch by Luiza Dorota Radziwiłł. Seal in red wax, with the inscription “Konigl. Geheime Canzley des Iustiz Ministers.”

Luiza (Fryderyka Dorota Luiza Filipina) Radziwiłłowa, née Hohenzollern (born May 24, 1770, in Berlin; died December 7, 1836, in Berlin) — a Prussian princess, aristocrat, amateur draftswoman, patron of the arts and cultural activities, associated with the family of Antoni Henryk Radziwiłł. After her marriage to Prince Antoni Henryk Radziwiłł in 1796, she became one of the most prominent figures in the social and artistic life of the Polish territories under Prussian rule.
Together with her husband, she ran a highly regarded artistic salon in Berlin and later in Poznań, which brought together representatives of the political, intellectual, and musical elites of the era. She maintained contacts with, among others, Wilhelm von Humboldt and Carl von Clausewitz. She was also involved in philanthropic and educational activities, supporting the development of girls’ education in the Grand Duchy of Poznań.
Luiza Radziwiłłowa worked in drawing and watercolor. Her body of work includes portraits, figure studies, and caricatures, some of which are held in the collection of the National Museum in Warsaw. Scholars attribute to her a series of satirical and caricature drawings from the late 18th century, considered among the earliest examples of this genre in Poland.
She also left behind valuable memoirs, published posthumously under the title *The Memoirs of Princess Radziwiłłowa*. Her artistic work, collecting activities, and patronage place her among the leading figures of Polish-Prussian culture at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Luiza Radziwiłłowa is considered—probably—the first female artist in Poland to create portrait caricatures.
