INCREDIBLE exhibit - perhaps the one and only one in Poland.
Tenzing Norgay's AUTOGRAPH
complete with the original (and probably no longer extant) stamps and an inscription by the Autograph's captor at the time - a well-known Polish traveler.
Tenzing Norgay (b. May 15, 1914, d. May 9, 1986 in Dardjiling) - Nepalese Himalayan mountaineer, Sherpa of Solukhumbu, who together with Edmund Hillary on May 29, 1953 made the first ascent of Mount Everest - the highest mountain on Earth. Tenzing was illiterate, but was able to sign his name. The 1983 autograph will be nicely framed, complete with an original photograph of the moment of signing.
