The “New Criticism” anthology is a selection of literary-critical texts by authors representing the scholarly movement known as New Criticism, which originated in the Anglo-Saxon countries in the 1940s and remains vibrant there to this day. The anthology includes critical essays by such distinguished authors as T. S. Eliot, Ezra Pound, Robert Penn Warren, John Crowe Ransom, Allen Tafie, Yvor Winters, and Kenneth Burke.
