10 zlotych tax stamp from the Kościuszko Uprising, 1794, Series A, with a 5-digit serial number: 28213
A natural-looking banknote with a beautifully preserved “ribbed” texture of handmade paper, featuring a very attractive appearance enhanced by, among other things, the paper’s natural, creamy hue and the exceptional print quality (high-contrast printing). The letters “B S”—the chemical security mark—are very clearly visible on the banknote, as are the easily legible dry seal and the clearly visible signatures of the two commissioners, M. Pągowski and T. Staniszewski.
An attractive piece, with its condition confirmed by a solid PMG grading score.
