Barbara Rosiak, born March 3, 1955 in Lodz - graduated fromthe Painting and Graphic Arts Department of the State Higher School of Fine Arts (PWSSP) (now the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz) in Lodz. She received a diploma with distinction in the intaglio studio of Prof. Leszek Rózga.
Barbara Rosiak creates graphic compositions in classical metal techniques, also multicolored, and an important theme of her work are elaborate, symbolic and fantastic landscapes and vedutas, in which she accumulates architectural motifs, figural quotations from old painting (e.g. Madonnas, nudes, etc.), ornamental details and ornaments from different historical periods (Renaissance, Baroque, Art Nouveau) framed in unreal perspectives.
She has had solo exhibitions but also participated in numerous group exhibitions and competitions around the world.
