Lupicaia has long confirmed its position among the most important producers of Supertoscans. With a history dating back to Etruscan times and an important moment in its development when Prince Poniatowski was the owner, Lupicaia is today an exciting source of top-notch wine.
The estate enjoys an excellent terroir, where a mix of suitable soils, climate and proximity to the Mediterranean creates fantastic conditions for viticulture.
Lupicaia 2014 owes its character to the excellent conditions in autumn - sunny days, cool nights, great temperature amplitude and lack of rain allowed the fruit to reach optimum ripeness. A lot of alcohol, lots of herbal and spice notes, all built on a good balance between sweetness and energy.
