Château Cheval Blanc 2014 (Bordeaux, France)
The first wine of one of Bordeaux's most distinguished estates seduces from the outset with a gorgeous, deep ruby color and a rich but elegant bouquet of impressive intensity; red and black fruits - blackberries, black currants, cherries and raspberries are mingled with subtle rose notes, as well as cedar wood. On the palate, it's clean, powerful, even generous, with a distinctly fruity flavor, excellent texture and wonderfully ripe yet well-defined tannins. A fresh and elegant aftertaste with an eye-catching length.
Serve with: roasted meats - beef, lamb, game and fowl, and aged cheeses.
