Justyna ZIÓŁKOWSKA (b. 1971), Speech is silver and silence is gold, from the series: "Talking Pictures",

acrylic, mixed technique, canvas, 100 x 70 cm, signed p.d.: JZ

A graduate of Musicology and Art History at the UW, she has been professionally involved in interior design for over two decades. She deepens her interest in abstract art by studying, among other things, "History of Modern Art" at the Institute of Contemporary Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Justyna Ziolkowska's paintings are the result of her search for equilibrium in all layers of the world. They are the sum of her interest in astrology, esotericism and geometry, which in the most perfect form shows the harmony she strives for in her life.
She paints with acrylics and watercolor. Guided by intuition, she seeks and depicts what she believes to be good. Each of Justyna Ziolkowska's paintings is a personal meditation, another step towards her own universe.

She loves abstract painting because it gives unlimited room for interpretation, as everyone will find a piece of themselves in it.
She appreciates the art of Hilma af Klint and Paul Klee, while from Polish artists: Janina Kraupa-Swiderska, Erna Rosentein and Eliza Kopeć.
